Due to the multitude of orders received, processing time, and the time/date you place, your order may take around 1 1/2 weeks to ship. However, we can assure our clients that smaller orders generally ship out at much earlier dates. We understand that some customers require their orders to be shipped earlier or on time due to tight deadlines. To accommodate this, we also offer a free upgrade to our quick ship program. Depending on the material, stain, quantity, and items selected we can ship your order in as little as 1 day from date of receipt for no additional fees!
Taking advantage of the quick ship program will require the customer to select the quick ship option when checking out their orders. Adequately explain your timelines you are under in the special instructions field on the checkout page so we can properly assess the handling and shipping of your order. Note that WCI reviews these orders under the quick ship option during normal business hours, upon which we will contact the client for further clarifications if necessary. In certain locations your delivery date may require expedited shipping charges even if we ship your order out with the quick ship program, which might be an additional charge you would need to authorize. All of the options will be reviewed with you when we contact you. Should there be any reason for the non-fulfillment of the quick ship order after WCI has done the review, we also give the customer the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Shipments outside the contiguous United States and APO addresses are subject to additional S&H charges and international shipments may be subject to additional duties and taxes.
Wine Cellar Innovations uses various shipping methods to ensure that your racking and other purchases arrive to you when you need it, and free from damage. We utilize several different shipping carriers depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. The carriers we generally use are: Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. Nonetheless, the list is not exclusive. The customer will get an e-mail confirmation from us once the order has been shipped from our facility advising of the carrier utilized as well as the tracking information. This allows the customer to plan accordingly for the expected delivery.

Maximum Protection of Your Order
Our custom cellars are boxed in corrugated with corner protectors, then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids. The skids contain plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to minimize damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks. The vast majority of custom cellars ship via common carrier.
This method involves shipping via a 53' foot semi-trailer. The trailer will arrive at the customer's residence and the driver will open the back of the truck and step aside to allow the designated personnel of the customer to do the unloading. If the basic service does not fit your needs we also have a host of additional services listed below that you can choose from for an additional cost.
Once the order is completed, Wine Cellar Innovations contacts the customer immediately. The customer will then be responsible for contacting their design consultant with the date they will be arriving for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Please be advised that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and delays in loading your product may occur. If the product needs to be loaded on a skid, Wine Cellar Innovations requires that the customer should advise us prior to the pickup.
Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense. Wine Cellar Innovations will need a completely filled out Bill of Lading at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product. The product will be loaded on skids and the customer pays a skid fee charged by Wine Cellar Innovations for each skid required to package the order. Thereafter, we notify the customer when the order is complete and ready for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Inside Delivery and lift gate service
For this method, it is the carrier that removes the product off of their truck and delivers it into either the customer's garage or the first room that is past the threshold of the customer's residence or place of business. Lift gate service is required for them to take the product off the truck due to the length and weight of the same.
This needs to be marked as such if the customer resides in one. That's because there are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities due to the extra work involved and in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.
This method is resorted to if a 53' long semi trailer will not be able to make a delivery to park in front of the customer's home or in the driveway at the time of delivery.
Two man delivery service
A product that is in excess of 70 pounds per box will first be checked by Wine Cellar Innovations in order that this delivery option can be utilized. Or, if the customer has requested delivery of the product inside their residence to a location other than the first room past the threshold of their residence or place of business.
Turn Key Quote
A Turn Key quote will be required if delivery is to be made to the following
- A Condo
- A High rise
- Any residential area where trucking companies must use asn elevator
- If the customer wants delivery past the threshold inside the residence.
- If the drop off location is not directly off of the driveway or if the driveway is inaccessible.
