Painter: Classical Moments Painting Collection
Augustina has always considered the world her home, moving from Detroit
Cincinnati to Barcelona, and now Chicago. She has studied at a variety
universities including The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The
Academy of Cincinnati, The University of Cincinnati, The Universidad de
Barcelona, and the Universidad de Desarollo. Her dramatic large scale
focus heavily on the ideas of color, contrast, and dramatic light. Major
influences include a variety of Spanish and Mexican artists, a tribute
Augustina's heritage; Pablo Picasso, Diego Rivera, and Francisco de Goya
others. Augustina has been creating striking commercial and residential
for years. Her work can be seen throughout the country in a variety of
and private collections, including the homes of royalty.
Painter: Contemporary Moments Painting Collection
With a background in classic fine art, Joanne won the coveted
Wilder Scholarship for travel and study worldwide. She graduated with Honors
from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, studied at Yale University and the Sorbonne
in Paris. Now an accomplished colorist known for her vibrant, energetic
landscapes, Joanne's paintings are imbued with a depth and sensitivity that
brings a room to life. In addition to her lyrical and painterly brushwork, in
2000, she developed a new and unique style of textured painting unlike anything
else. In a succession of layered and overlapping gradations of transparency and
varying thickness, these palette knife paintings are remarkable multi-faceted
gems. In both styles, a sense of movement in the layers of vivid colors attracts
a discerning eye and many are the centerpiece of private and corporate
Glass Artist: Etched Glass and Mirrors
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College of
Design, Architecture, Art & Planning, Jeff has
been creating art glass pieces for over twenty years. Jeff uses sandblasting
techniques to create unique etchings on glass. His artistic designs have been
used nationally in many private residences as well as restaurants, hotels,
malls, museums and hospitals.
Jeff's studio is located within our 350,000 square foot facility.
Glass Artist: Stained Glass
Cathy began her studies in sculpture and pottery under teacher Joseph O'Brien of
the Chicago land area in 1972. In 1977 she further explored her interests,
studying under the Italian potter, Sebastian Magilo who was the master potter at
Haeger Pottery in Dundee, Illinois.
In 1985 after years of working primarily with clay, her interests in the arts
widened. She started taking classes at the Stained Glass Studio, studying under
Cathy Gamble. Within three months she was teaching and creating a lot of Cathy’s
custom work. Two years later she opened her own studio and began designing and
creating custom work for contractors, private homes, businesses, churches, and
schools. Cathy has been creating custom stained glass
for Wine Cellar Innovations since 2000.
Painter: Hand Painted Tiles
In 1983, Denise started hand painting tiles in her basement. Since that time her
business has grown into a 1,000 square foot facility that houses 3 large kilns.
She has spent the past 18 years developing truly remarkable custom designs
for the hand painted tile industry.
Mosaic Artist: Wall & Floor Art
Jennifer is a mosaic artist who began her career in the business world. She has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business, and for twenty years she owned a successful travel agency.
She began working in mosaics in 1998 and developed a particular interest in pique assiette, the creation of artistic images using broken china.
In 2004, she studied classical mosaics in Ravenna, Italy. In 2006, she studied mosaics at Domus Orsoni in Venice. She has exhibited in fine art shows and galleries, and has mosaic sculptural pieces installed in various public venues. Jennifer is a member of the Society of American Mosaic Artists.
