Technical Tuesday Episode #429: Show-stopping Details On Custom Wine Racks

June 16th, 2020

You know what they say: “Go big or go home.” That applies to your wine cellar projects as well. If you have the budget to go full force on the wine cellar of your dreams, then by all means do so. You can rest assured that the highly experienced design professionals here at WCI can help you achieve that goal. Today’s Tech Tuesday project is a shining example of this. We are proud to feature the show-stopping details on this wine cellar for our client in Parkville, MO:

Project # 315721
Wood: Custom / Allheart Redwood
Bottle Capacity: 3556
Where: Parkville, MO
Stain: Classic Mahogany

Show-stopping details on this custom projectThis is one of the largest wine cellars we’ve designed for this year. It is quite massive, but the bottle storage capacity is not the only thing that stands out here. Design-wise, this beauty is indeed one for the books – and for the WCI photo galleries. Our client had a generous budget, along with the equally generous space. So our design team had to make sure that the results will deliver 100% satisfaction.

Show-stopping concave racksThe custom route was taken for this project, down to the tiniest details. The racks, as you can glean from the photos, are in a unique concave silhouette. This is not the standard curved corner racking that you can find in our wine rack kits. The racks were tailor-made to create a uniform concave pattern throughout the entire assembly. Potential clients might be delighted to learn though, that our Vintner Series carries a “kit” version of these concave racks. As we always say, WCI finds wine storage solutions to suit every budget. If you want these show-stopping details, we can work around your price range. You’ll be surprised at the variety of racking products and accessories we carry!

Custom racks in Classic Mahogany stainCheck out the tabletop, flooring and ceiling on this wine cellar. They all fit to a T and work very well with the racking. In going custom, you have the privilege of choosing not just the style you want, but the materials as well. For the flooring and ceiling, for example, you can request completely customized design and materials for your project. We will then make sure that you get exactly what you want! *Cheers*
