Features

Air Handler System
Winezone Split Air Handler Refrigeration Unit Diagram
Applications:
• Used for L-shaped rooms, long narrow rooms, or where one point source will not properly circulate air throughout the room
• For cellars that will store or mature wine for long periods of time
• Located outside the cellar, the supply and return air is ducted into the room similar to a central air conditioner
• No visible mechanical equipment in cellar
• Ducted units need only supply registers and return air grilles in the cellar leaving more wall space for racking and art work
• Ducting can be placed in soffits if room construction is already complete
• The most quiet style of all refrigeration systems
• Humidification, dehumidification, and alarm options with the air handler system allow for total climate control in the wine cellar
• Accurate, fast acting, commercial controls operate the refrigeration system and all the accessories
• Can be used with either an indoor or outdoor remote condensing unit, moving heat and noise away from the cellar
• Wooden and decorative metal registers available
• Must be installed and adjusted by a qualified HVAC technician

Peco Performance PRO Thermostat
The Performance PROT12000 Series is intended for use in residential and commercial environments. It can support the 1 stage Heat/1 stage Cool/Humidify/Dehumidify configurations for WineZone air handler systems. It features a 12 square inch blue backlit display with dynamic menus, accessed using touchscreen keys. All Performance Pro T12000 Series offer the following standard features: Auto-changeover, temporary override, optional remote temperature sensors, keypad lockout, and filter change reminder.

Advantages:
• One thermostat controls Cool, Humidify, Dehumidify, and Heat
• Blue touchscreen is large, easy to read, and user friendly.
• System configuration, while extensive, is easy and fast to perform.
• The wiring connections use common designations familiar to HVAC techs making installation of control wiring faster and simpler.
• No 115-volt power circuit is required at the thermostat reducing installation cost
• Humidify and Dehumidify are more economical since there is no need for additional controls
• Remote temperature sensor allows user to view the temperature from outside the cellar.
• Customers that purchase Dehumidification also receive the ability to heat the cellar. The Heat option with the modified condenser control panel is no longer necessary
• Provides control of Fan to customer.
• Can be used as a direct replacement for WZDS thermostats

Disadvantages:
• Can’t be used to replace Johnson Controls on existing WZAH systems without replacing the condenser control panel unless the system is cooling only.
• Will not support Alarm function
• The remote sensor is for temperature only. Units with humidity control must be installed in the cellar.

Fan Cycle Control:
• Contacts open and close by movement of pressure actuated bellows
• Provides direct control of AC motors
• Full adjustability through all pressure ranges
• Hammer blow contact break for long contact life
• 36 in. cap tube with 1/4" flare nut
• 100 to 400 psig range with 35 psi differential minimum

Humidification:
Research Products Corporation is the largest manufacturer of whole house humidifiers, air cleaners, and fresh air exchangers and is a recognized leader in the heating and air conditioning industry.
• Quiet, efficient performance
• Easily installed and maintained
• Fan draws air through water panel where humidity is generated and the air handler distributes humidity throughout the cellar
• .75 gal/hr capacity, among the highest of all evaporative humidifiers
• Could humidify a 4000 sq. ft. home
• Simple yearly maintenance can be done by the HVAC tech while performing the yearly maintenance on the refrigeration system
  • Fast, easy replacement of inexpensive water panel and orifice

Dehumidification:
• Duct heater suitable use in any forced air system
• Suitable for zero clearance installations in vertical or horizontal duct systems
• Easily installed in the side of the supply air duct
• Heavy gage galvanized iron construction
• Output matched in size to refrigeration unit

Free Shipping
All Wooden Wine Rack Kit Series are in stock!

Due to the multitude of orders received, processing time, and the time/date you place, your order may take around 1 1/2 weeks to ship. However, we can assure our clients that smaller orders generally ship out at much earlier dates. We understand that some customers require their orders to be shipped earlier or on time due to tight deadlines. To accommodate this, we also offer a free upgrade to our quick ship program. Depending on the material, stain, quantity, and items selected we can ship your order in as little as 1 day from date of receipt for no additional fees!

Taking advantage of the quick ship program will require the customer to select the quick ship option when checking out their orders. Adequately explain your timelines you are under in the special instructions field on the checkout page so we can properly assess the handling and shipping of your order. Note that WCI reviews these orders under the quick ship option during normal business hours, upon which we will contact the client for further clarifications if necessary. In certain locations your delivery date may require expedited shipping charges even if we ship your order out with the quick ship program, which might be an additional charge you would need to authorize. All of the options will be reviewed with you when we contact you. Should there be any reason for the non-fulfillment of the quick ship order after WCI has done the review, we also give the customer the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Free Shipping applies only to the 48 contiguous states in the United States and APO addresses. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, island locations such as Martha's Vineyard that require a ferry to reach, and international shipments will most likely be subject to additional shipping. International shipment will most likely also incur duties and taxes.

Shipping Methods
Wine Cellar Innovations uses various shipping methods to ensure that your racking and other purchases arrive to you when you need it, and free from damage. We utilize several different shipping carriers depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. The carriers we generally use are: Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. Nonetheless, the list is not exclusive. The customer will get an e-mail confirmation from us once the order has been shipped from our facility advising of the carrier utilized as well as the tracking information. This allows the customer to plan accordingly for the expected delivery.

The following is for reference of larger orders or custom wine cellars:

Maximum Protection of Your Order
Our custom cellars are boxed in corrugated with corner protectors, then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids. The skids contain plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to minimize damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks. The vast majority of custom cellars ship via common carrier.

Basic Delivery
This method involves shipping via a 53' foot semi-trailer. The trailer will arrive at the customer's residence and the driver will open the back of the truck and step aside to allow the designated personnel of the customer to do the unloading. If the basic service does not fit your needs we also have a host of additional services listed below that you can choose from for an additional cost.

Customer pickup
Once the order is completed, Wine Cellar Innovations contacts the customer immediately. The customer will then be responsible for contacting their design consultant with the date they will be arriving for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Please be advised that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and delays in loading your product may occur. If the product needs to be loaded on a skid, Wine Cellar Innovations requires that the customer should advise us prior to the pickup.

Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense. Wine Cellar Innovations will need a completely filled out Bill of Lading at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product. The product will be loaded on skids and the customer pays a skid fee charged by Wine Cellar Innovations for each skid required to package the order. Thereafter, we notify the customer when the order is complete and ready for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

Inside Delivery and lift gate service
For this method, it is the carrier that removes the product off of their truck and delivers it into either the customer's garage or the first room that is past the threshold of the customer's residence or place of business. Lift gate service is required for them to take the product off the truck due to the length and weight of the same.

Gated community
This needs to be marked as such if the customer resides in one. That's because there are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities due to the extra work involved and in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.

Small truck
This method is resorted to if a 53' long semi trailer will not be able to make a delivery to park in front of the customer's home or in the driveway at the time of delivery.

Two man delivery service
A product that is in excess of 70 pounds per box will first be checked by Wine Cellar Innovations in order that this delivery option can be utilized. Or, if the customer has requested delivery of the product inside their residence to a location other than the first room past the threshold of their residence or place of business.

Turn Key Quote

A Turn Key quote will be required if delivery is to be made to the following

  • A Condo
  • A High rise
  • Any residential area where trucking companies must use an elevator
  • If the customer wants delivery past the threshold inside the residence.
  • If the drop off location is not directly off of the driveway or if the driveway is inaccessible.
