The five column individual bottle wine rack is one of our most popular items. Created in short depth, it uses less wood which makes it more affordable. Yet, the body of the wine bottle is fully supported within the wine racks while the neck of the bottle slightly sticks out. Purchase two or more to stack on top of each other to maximize the height of your wine storage. All Winemaker wine racks must be mounted 1 1/2" off the wall to ensure proper wine bottle stability, and will therefore add 1 /1/2" to the listed dimensions. Moldings and platforms are sold separately. Assembly required.
  • Versatile wine racking
  • Racking must be assembled 1 1/2" from the wall
  • Can fit just about any ceiling height
  • Custom, organized look at great prices
  • Various racking styles and display options
  • Made in the USA
vin-base-thumb.jpg Utilize this platform specifically designed and engineered to elevate each wine rack kit. You must also purchase this special platform in order to use the 5 1/4" base molding package. This platform can support one wine rack, or two stacked. The platform is 3 13/16" High, and will allow you to maximize the rack height in any room. Please note : If you order the platform stained, only the top will be stained, as majority of customers will be attaching base molding to the front of the platform. If you would like the front or the side of the platform to be stained, you should order a half pint of stain from us to touch it up. Please call to order stain. Additional cost applies.  Platforms are available for purchase here.

Stacking & Center Trim - Our stackable Vintner/WMK line is sold in 3 and 4 foot sizes, which makes stacking up to your ceiling height a breeze. When ordering 6, 7, 8, or 9 foot heights, you will be sent multiple 3 & 4 foot racks to assemble and stack yourself. Be sure to watch our assembly videos for the best way to put them together. When stacking to a greater heights, you may wish to purchase center trim, which will cover the space where the specific racks meet.
  • 6 Foot Racking = Two 3 foot racks
  • 7 Foot Racking = One 3 foot rack, and one 4 foot rack
  • 8 Foot Racking = Two 4 foot racks
  • 9 Foot Racking = Three 3 foot racks

Spacer Bar upgradeSpacer Bars:
Spacer bars are sent with a dado that snugly fits each column of your racking. You can assemble the rack with the nails provided, or you can utilize a handy brad nailer for faster assembly. A third option is using screws, if you prefer that method. You will need to predrill and countersink the holes to ensure you do not split the material.

Bottom Rail upgradeBottom Rail: All the racks in this Series have a 1 7/16" square cut bottom rail. These rails make it so your bottles are stored securely above the floor level so they would not break accidentally by hitting a hard floor. Added to this, the base molding supplied with this Series is 1 7/16" high and can be applied directly to the front of this rail.

I'm very appreciative of how you have videos to refer to for the assembly process. In fact, it was the videos that sealed the deal in why we ordered from your company vs another that I looked into. They only had printed instructions and became overwhelmed with the possibility of assembling. After seeing the videos, the "putting together" seemed much more "doable".

We love the wine rack, and have been using it to store our homemade wines. Shipping was very quick, and assembly was easy once I found a way to keep the vertical slats even. I was able to assemble it on my own without a nail gun, just a small hammer and a level. The rack is very sturdy, even when fully stocked. We've yet to sand or stain the rack, but the unfinished wood still looks great on it's own. We'll definitely be purchasing more products from you in the future!

We love how the wine wall worked out. We get compliments from our friends too. They are holding up very well.

We had all the wine racks assembled and ready to go after just a few missing parts. Thank you for your customer service in sending those after the problems I had. We used the nail gun for assembly, I couldn't imagine not using one. The WineMaker racks look really nice in my cellar though. I would recommend.

I had a four ft deep by six foot wide by ten ft high wine closet but it came out great. Hold about 500 bottles. I wish there would have been a packing slip in every box out of the 20 boxes I received but we figured it out. It all came out fine.

Very good experience minus a few minor hiccups with shipping. All in all, a very good experience. There were a few issues with being shipped the wrong product (ordered 4 foot racks and received one section as a 3 foot rack), but I was able to chat with a representative online to resolve quickly. They rush shipped the correct pieces and even set up a pickup from my house for the pieces to be returned. They turned what could have been a huge hassle into a simple few day delay. The racks are nice quality and were quite easy to assemble with my nail gun. Now we are ready to expand our wine collection!

Our story is that we searched far and wide both retail and Internet for a wine rack that would fit in this closet but to no avail until finally we discovered your fabulous company! This unique Innovation hosts all of our wine that we need access to on a regular basis for entertaining guests. Thank you so much for creating an alternative and for accommodating our needs. Your customer service, shipping and delivery, telephone agent access and product quality exceeded our expectations. We would certainly do business with you again and have recommended your company to some of our friends.

I purchased the 7 foot in Rustic Pine and they are fantastic. It took me about 7 hours to put together.

I ordered a few of your wine racks maybe six months ago, they arrived in fine shape and I installed them with a regular finishing hammer and impact driver since the racks are anchored to concrete. My wine cellar is a semi-passive design which means it’s about 12 ft below grade in my basement. Floating temperatures stay below 65F in summer and drop into the mid 50’s in winter so it works pretty well with a small digitally controlled refrigeration unit. The racks work quite well and have doubled my storage capacity for a very modest investment. Good product, keep it that way.

I ordered two of the larger racks because we were needing storage for up to 200 bottles. These racks were the most cost effective and had the best system for holding different sizes of bottles. We tried some other brands but they permitted some bottles to slip through. That was a major reason for choosing your design. I used a nail gun and I did modify the bases to get the bottom row off the floor a bit, as well as changing the connection between the racks. They are well secured to the wall behind. I did have some issues with splitting the ends of some of the horizontal pieces but that can be expected using dry, small dimension pine (we did not buy Redwood). They are in a basement closet so looks are not as critical as if it was in a dining area. Overall we are very pleased with the results. Thanks for a well designed, cost effective wine rack.

Purchased in Rustic Pine, 6 ft. Everything is looks good. Would recommend.

I am very happy with the rack. I have three suggestions for improvements. 1. Mount the retaining brackets on the side and inside the rack (they are hidden from view and the installed rack looks nicer). 2. Make the top Back Brace 3/4 inch thinner (then the 2nd row of bottles can go all the way to the wall) 3. Make the bottom Back Brace 3/4 inch thinner and mount it under the bottom notch Spacebar so the bottom row of bottle can go all the way to the wall. I made these three mods on mine and it is great!

Yes, we enjoy the rack. I had an alcove that I built at the end of a hallway. We were using it to display art, but realized we needed more wine storage as we have been buying pinot noirs to add to our small collection. We picked a 4-foot rack so we could display an art piece above and still solve our storage needs. Easy to assemble (but to be fair I am an engineer so projects that most people complain about do not cause me issues). I did use a nail gun and you are right about the benefit. We only keep pinots and sparkling wines in this rack and store other types elsewhere.

I am very pleased with my WineMaker racks which are under my stairs. My wine cellar is organized not by estates or regions but organized by the year/vintage. I feel quite emotional drinking a bottle from a particular year that is special to me.

Racks are working great. Our carpenter assembled them and he did use a nail gun I believe and had no trouble at all that I am aware of. We may order more as we have almost filled them!! Shipping was not an issue here - they were delivered in tact.

Shipping Methods
We use an assortment of shipping methods to ensure that your racking and other purchases arrive to you when you need it, and free from damage. We are actually working with a number of shipping companies and utilize the most suitable ones depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. The list is not exclusive, but here are some of the more frequently utilized carriers: Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. You will receive an email confirmation from us once your order has shipped from our facility advising you of the carrier and the tracking information, so you can plan for your delivery accordingly.
The following is for reference of larger orders or custom wine cellars:
Maximum Protection of Your Order
We ensure proper security of custom wine cellar orders by putting them in corrugated containers with corner protectors and then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids. These skids have plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to ensure minimal damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks. The vast majority of custom cellars ship via a common shipping carrier.
Basic Delivery
This shipping option is done via a 53' foot semi-trailer that will arrive at your residence. The driver opens the back of the truck and steps aside for the assigned party on your end to do the unloading. If the basic service does not fit your needs we also have a host of additional services listed below that you can choose from for an additional cost.
Customer pickup
This method is quite self-explanatory and we get in touch with the client the moment the order is completed. The client will then contact their design consultant with the date they will be arriving for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Keep in mind that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and which may at times result in delays in the loading of your product. In addition, we also need to be notified if the product will be loaded on a skid.
Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense. Wine Cellar Innovations will need a completely filled out Bill of Lading at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product. The product is generally loaded onto skids and the client is charged with a skid fee by us for each skid required to package your order. We then notify the client when their order is complete and ready for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Inside Delivery and lift gate service
In this method, the carrier removes the product off of their truck and delivers it into your garage or the first room that is past the threshold of your residence or place of business. Note that a lift gate service is required to unload the product from the truck due to its length and weight.
Gated community
There are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities, so the client needs to indicate it if they are residing in one. This is due to the extra work involved in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.
Small truck
Is required if a 53' long semi trailer will not be able to make a delivery to park in front of your home or in your driveway at the time of delivery.
Two man delivery service
Will be checked by Wine Cellar Innovations if we are shipping product this in excess of 70 pounds per box or if you have requested delivery of your product inside your home to a location other than the first room pass the threshold of your residence or place of business.
