Spacer Bar upgradeSpacer Bars:
Spacer bars are sent with a dado that snugly fits each column of your racking. Assembly can be done either by hand with the nails provided or by utilizing a brad nailer for faster assembly. If you would prefer to assemble your rack with screws you will need to predrill and countersink the holes to ensure you do not split the material.

Bottom Rail upgradeBottom Rail: All the racks in this Series have a 1 7/16" square cut bottom rail. With these rails, your bottles are stored securely above the floor level so they do not break accidentally by hitting a hard floor. In addition, the base molding supplied with this Series is 1 7/16" high and can be applied directly to the front of this rail.

I ordered about $1,000 in wine racks for my small cellar. The racks were easy to assemble and have held up well. WCI provided easy to follow plans and assistance as needed. I am very happy with their product.

Finished the wine cellar, racks were great.

We are thoroughly enjoying your Vintner Wine racks. I did use a nail gun which made assembly very easy. For a DIY project, your wine racks were right on the mark. The only issue I had was the length of the molding that combines the top and bottom portion. Since the width I needed was in excess of 48", I had to cut a piece that didn't exactly match the 48" main portion (as you can see in the picture). Other than that, the only other problem we're having is not being able to keep the wine rack full!! Thanks for such a great product!

Purchased a few different components in Premium Redwood, light stain. They worked out really well and look great.

I could not have been happier with the planning & design process provided by your team. The installation was a little complicated but the finished product is exactly what I was looking for.

We love our wine racks. They look beautiful. The whole cellar fits over 1,100 wine bottles. We do have some feedback... 1. Instructions were very much lacking and pertain only to the individual standard kits (not our extra custom work). Not so much on how each kits goes together for our particular design. Even though Eric warned us... It took our installer - who is a capable finish carpenter 3+ days to install. With a huge amount of time just identifying the pieces. The boxes need to be better identified and correlated to the drawing. We had a few custom pieces and the instructions were particularly awful. 2. The air compressor for the nail gun was unusable. Too small for the job.

I used the bonus installation kit (nail gun) to assemble the kits. It made the job much easier than if I had used hammer and nails. I was impressed with the dimensional accuracy of the kit components. They fit together very well and were true to the dimensions given in the on-line schematics. This was very important in planning the kit sizes since I went "wall to wall" and didn't want gaps or spaces. Allowing for furring, the overall assembly was within 1/2" at each end wall. Aesthetically, the units were pretty consistent in specified color and grain. This project was done with 4' and 3' stacked kits since the ceiling height is only 88.5 inches. I am still undecided about crown molding or using the top space for 1.5L bottle storage. That's about it!

Just completed an 1850 bottle custom cellar. My designer worked with the designer at WCI and they came up with a truly custom cellar. The walnut stained rustic pine racks paired very well with stone arches, tin roof and travertine floor. Custom lighting completed the package. Everything arrived on time. Although it was a large project, all racks fit perfectly. We couldn't be happier!!

We assembled the base kits first (yes with a nail gun - can't imagine trying to do it without one). We then customized by cutting the display racks off the bottom units and reassembling them on top of a custom display shelf. We also built a custom base and added base and crown molding top and bottom. Finally I added custom strip lighting throughout. I ordered Prime Mahogany with a Dark Walnut stain. A few thoughts on the process: 1. The kits went together fairly easily. 2. I was fairly happy with the quality with a couple of exceptions: (a) the finish quality of the wood was inconsistent, some was great, others just ok, and (b) the quality of the fit was inconsistent. What I mean by that is that the cross members did not always match up well, which leads to a rougher, unfinished/ professional look. We did the best we could when customizing but up

The wine cellar has a thermal door that opens up to a tasting/bar area. The wine cellar was one portion of a larger project involving the finishing of my home's overall basement. That larger project lasted about four months and is just now coming to a conclusion, cleaning things up and adding furnishings. I had several contractors involved in this work: masons, tilers, electricians, framing and carpentry (who did the actual rack assembly, using a nail gun). I acted as general contractor, doing the overall design and coordination. * Maybe a few things for your team to think about as you supply wine racks for similar efforts. (1) Your shipment involved 33 separate boxes which arrived in the context of the overall and more complex basement project. So we couldn't just open things without a plan. It took some time and calls to your business to sort out w

My wife and I love our new wine room and have had several parties and showing off our newest room. The racks were great and the support from Mo with the questions I had was great after sale customer service. The only improvement I would recommend is a better master itemized layout of the finished product. Because my layout was complex I made some early mistakes not seeing how everything came together. Overall I am strongly recommending it to my friends.

From initial visit to installation, we had a great experience. Krista was awesome--every time we wanted a change, she would get the new design back quickly to us. When we questioned charges for shipping, she went to work and provided us what we needed. We ordered pre-stained racks and decided to find our door with another company that could provide it cheaper. We asked Krista for a sample so the door folks could match the stain and within a day it was at our doorstep--great service! When it came time to install, we mistakenly thought installation would take a day...not sure how that happened. When all was said and done 5 days later, we were extremely happy with how it turned out!

I am very pleased with my beautiful wine room from Wine Cellar Innovations. It looks professional and gets great compliments. The company representatives were very helpful with design advice and helping me chose the wood and stain. The kit was made to close tolerances and assembled in a couple of days. Assembly instructions were detailed and easy to follow. This is a very professional company and I recommend them highly.

We utilize several different shipping carriers depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. Some of the carriers we choose to use are as follows, but not limited : Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you from our facility advising you of the carrier as well as the tracking information, allowing you to plan properly for your delivery.
The following is for reference of larger orders or custom wine cellars:
Maximum Protection of Your Order
Our custom cellars are boxed in corrugated with corner protectors, then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids. The skids contain plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to minimize damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks. Most of our custom cellar orders ship via common carrier.
Basic Delivery
Means we ship via a 53' foot semi-trailer that will arrive at your residence and the driver will open the back of the truck and step aside for the assigned party on your end to unload it. If this basic delivery service does not work for you, there are other delivery options listed below that you can choose from. The cost will vary, of course, with every delivery option.
Customer pickup
Means that the client will be contacted when their product is completed. The client will have to arrange with their design consultant the date that they will be arriving for pick up. The usual pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Please be advised that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and delays in loading your product may occur. We will need to be notified if the product will be loaded on a skid.
Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense. In this option, Wine Cellar Innovations requires a Bill of Lading to be properly completed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product. Product will be loaded on skids and customer will be charged a skid fee by Wine Cellar Innovationss for each skid required to package your order. The client will then be notified when their product is ready for pick up. For this option, the pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Inside Delivery and lift gate service
Means that the carrier will remove the product off of their truck and deliver it into your garage or the first room that is past the threshold of your residence or place of business. Lift gate service is required for them to take the product off the truck due to the length and weight of our product.
Gated community
Needs to be marked if you live in one as there are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities due to the extra work involved in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.
Small truck
This would be required if a 53' long semi trailer will not be able to make a delivery to park in front of your home or in your driveway at the time of delivery.
Two man delivery service
If the product to be delivered is in excess of 70 lbs per box or if you have requested delivery of your product inside your home to a location other than the first room pass the threshold of your residence or place of business, Wine Cellar Innovations needs to first verify that the previously mentioned conditions exist before allowing the client this delivery option.
