Stacking & Center Trim - Our stackable Vintner/WMK line is sold in 3 and 4 foot sizes, which makes stacking up to your ceiling height a breeze. When ordering 6, 7, 8, or 9 foot heights, you will be sent multiple 3 & 4 foot racks to assemble and stack yourself. Be sure to watch our assembly videos for the best way to put them together. When stacking to a greater heights, you may wish to purchase center trim, which will cover the space where the specific racks meet.
  • 6 Foot Racking = Two 3 foot racks
  • 7 Foot Racking = One 3 foot rack, and one 4 foot rack
  • 8 Foot Racking = Two 4 foot racks
  • 9 Foot Racking = Three 3 foot racks

Spacer Bar upgradeSpacer Bars:
Spacer bars are sent with a dado that snugly fits each column of your racking. You can assemble the rack with the nails provided, or you can utilize a handy brad nailer for faster assembly. A third option is using screws, if you prefer that method. You will need to predrill and countersink the holes to ensure you do not split the material.

Bottom Rail upgradeBottom Rail: All the racks in this Series have a 1 7/16" square cut bottom rail. These rails make it so your bottles are stored securely above the floor level so they would not break accidentally by hitting a hard floor. Added to this, the base molding supplied with this Series is 1 7/16" high and can be applied directly to the front of this rail.

I had limited space so the five column and two column worked really well in my spot. I'm enjoying them.
    5 stars
Assembly went fine - I did use a brad nail gun to assemble them. Shipping was fine - no issues. Quality is great. My use is not glamorous - I put both racks into two utility closets I built in our new finished basement - strictly wine storage in the spare space where we have our two sump pumps. Making good use of “dead space”.

We love our racks! We are moving soon and will be ordering more racks in the future for our new house.

It was like night and day with assembly. I bought some of your racks about 3 or 4 years ago for another location and had a devil of time getting them assembled. The nail gun made all the difference. It made the assembly go so much quicker and it was actually fun to do! Like my dad always said, you’ve got to have the right tool for the job. I would never consider trying to assemble any of your racks without a nail gun in the future. One of the racks had a wrong piece which subsequently replaced and there was one piece of one of the racks that was broken. I didn’t realize this until later, but since it only involved one bottle location, and I had installed it already, I did not send a note to your company. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience, and would do it again.

It turned out great. It was easy to put together, I didn't use a nail gun just a hammer...a couple of boards split when nailing but I just glued it back together.

We received the wine rack on time with no hitches. I used a nail gun and screws for assembly and had some issues assembling it and had to order a few replacement parts. Some of that was my fault, but the directions could have been a little clearer. We placed this wine rack in our Dining room and the brackets sticking out on the top did not make it very attractive. Fortunately I did have a few extras pieces that I could glue together and covered up the view of the brackets. You might want to consider including something in the kit to cover those so people do not have to come up with something themselves. All in all I am satisfied with your service and product as you did replace the few parts at no cost to me very quickly.

We love the rack. It fit just where we had space. It was easy to put together and I did use my brad nailer.

We love our new wine racks and tasting table!! And we are equally delighted with Tiffany Hernandez for helping us with everything. After we ordered our racking and put everything together, we needed another 120 bottle rack so we got a few more. Delivery was great and everything arrived quickly and undamaged. Assembly was pretty easy using the compressor and nail gun WCI provided free of charge with the first larger order I put through. However, I thought that the assembly instructions could have been a little more descriptive regarding the assembly differences between the front and back sides of the racks. I did not do the first two racks exactly right, but figured it out after that and everything else proceeded smoothly. And the mistake I made did not really cause any issues. I don't think we are likely to need more racks in the future, but if we did then Wine Cellar Innovations is the only place I would consider buying them.

They arrived as expected – no problem there. I decided to put them together with screws instead of the nails provided (the nails seemed inadequate). I just used a drill to put in pilot holes and an electric driver to drive in the screws. Took a little longer but I am pleased with the results. The top rail pieces is installed, would block the use of the top row for bottles so, I didn’t use them as designed. The brackets to attach the racks to the wall were fine but the provided screws too small (short). I used longer screws (had some from the assembly) to attach the brackets to studs and put the two racks I bought side by side. I then tied them together using one of the top rails I didn’t install. The results are a pair of nice looking and practical racks that are nice and stable.

Assembly was a little challenging at first, but once I got rolling was easy. Might be easier if the racks were marked in some way to facilitate assembly - I was constantly counting where to place crossbraces, and occasionally got the top and bottom mixed up. Assembly would be nearly impossible without a nail gun. If I had to do it over, I would have spent the extra money and gotten all designer racks....they are so much nicer and somehow you need to emphasize this to buyers I think. My only real complaint about the traditional racks is that the slots at the dividers require the bottles to not be inserted fully (so as not to disrupt the bottle lying above). This is mentioned on your site, but even with skinny german bottles this is an issue. As you know, the racks are not deep enough to allow those bottles to lie flat.

I built my wine cellar with my own bare hands... Tiled the floor, put stone on the walls, and put up the rack. This is the space in the basement under the stairs. The rack was not too difficult to build. I used a brad gun and a hammer. The wood split a couple times but is still structurally sound.

We bought the traditional racks to turn an awkward, unnecessary closet off of our garage area under some stairs into an amazing space. The racks are of great quality for the price and super easy to use. They assembled super easy, we were even able to adjust the height ever so slightly so they fit perfectly in the space and it didn't detract from the appearance at all. We purchased the unfinished pine and stained it ourselves. We also affixed them to the walls for added security. They even do well with some of the more awkwardly shaped bottles we brought home from overseas. They're holding all the wine we brought home from Europe very well!

They are working fine and the shipping was also good. One tiny design thing is that the lowest slot doesn't allow room for the bottle to sit lower, so it holds up the bottle in the second slot. This could be problematic is someone pulled out the lower bottle quickly and got two bottles instead of the one they expected. I screwed mine together. I drilled a pilot hole with a countersink so the screws would sit flush. Very solid this way.

I made some and then purchased yours. Worked great! Definitely used my nail gun.

My Traditional Pine racks arrived in great shape, and they were simply a breeze to assemble with a nail gun. I'm certain as I fill these that I will be purchasing more in the future for my specific space.

Wine Cellar Innovations uses several shipping methods to ensure that your racking and other purchases arrive to you when you need it, and free from damage. We tie up with several shipping carriers depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. Here are just some of the carriers we've been using over the years. The list is not exclusive: Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. You will receive an email confirmation from us once your order has shipped from our facility advising you of the carrier and the tracking information, so you can plan for your delivery accordingly.
For larger orders or custom wine cellars, please scroll through the following additional information:
Maximum Protection of Your Order
Our custom cellars are boxed in corrugated with corner protectors, then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids.  The skids contain plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to minimize damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks.  The vast majority of custom cellars ship via common carrier.
Basic Delivery
This means that shipping is done by a 53' foot semi-trailer that will arrive at your residence. Upon arrival, the driver will open the back of the truck and step aside for the assigned party on your end to unload it. If the basic service does not fit your needs we also have a host of additional services listed below that you can choose from for an additional cost.
Customer pickup
The customer is contacted only when the product is completed and ready for pick-up. The customer will then contact their design consultant with the date they will be arriving for pick up. For your convenience, our pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Please be advised that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and delays in loading your product may occur. If the product needs to be loaded on a skid, please contact us prior to your pick-up date.
Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense.  Wine Cellar Innovations will need a completely filled out Bill of Lading at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product.  Product will be loaded on skids and customer will be charged a skid fee by Wine Cellar Innovations for each skid required to package your order.  Client will be notified when their order is complete and ready for pick up.  Pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Inside Delivery and lift gate service
Means that the carrier will remove the product off of their truck and deliver it into your garage or the first room that is past the threshold of your residence or place of business.  Lift gate service is required for them to take the product off the truck due to the length and weight of our product.
Gated community
Needs to be marked if you live in one as there are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities due to the extra work involved in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.
Small truck
This is required if it is not feasible for a 53' long semi trailer to make a delivery and park in front of your home or in your driveway.
Two man delivery service
In utilizing this method, Wine Cellar Innovations first reviews if we are shipping product/s in excess of 70 pounds per box or if you have requested delivery of your product inside your home to a location other than the first room past the threshold of your residence or place of business.
Turn Key Quote

A Turn Key quote will be required if delivery is to be made to the following

  • Condo
  • High rise
  • If you live in a residential area where trucking companies must use an elevator
  • If the customer wants delivery past the threshold inside the residence.
  • If the drop off location is not directly off of the driveway or if the driveway is inaccessible.
