INFUSION refers to the inside pieces of wine barrel material. • Client must install flooring. The sub-floor or a raised foundation is best. May be glued, nailed, or floated over sub-floor surfaces. Over concrete, install a vapor barrier and glue the flooring to the vapor barrier using Bostik’s Best Adhesive in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • We do not recommend a floating floor but one does not need to construct a wood base on top of a concrete floor either. As long as the concrete is flat even if it is not level that is fine. Apply a moisture barrier such as MVP by Bostics Best then glue the flooring to the concrete. Bostic Best also makes a 2 in 1 that is a moisture barrier & glue combo product called Vapor Lock.
