Spacer Bar upgradeSpacer Bars:
Spacer bars are sent with a dado that snugly fits each column of your racking. Assembly can be done either by hand with the nails provided or by utilizing a brad nailer for faster assembly. If you would prefer to assemble your rack with screws you will need to predrill and countersink the holes to ensure you do not split the material.

Bottom Rail upgradeBottom Rail: All the racks in this Series have a 1 7/16" square cut bottom rail. With these rails, your bottles are stored securely above the floor level so they do not break accidentally by hitting a hard floor. In addition, the base molding supplied with this Series is 1 7/16" high and can be applied directly to the front of this rail.

I ordered about $1,000 in wine racks for my small cellar. The racks were easy to assemble and have held up well. WCI provided easy to follow plans and assistance as needed. I am very happy with their product.

Just completed an 1850 bottle custom cellar. My designer worked with the designer at WCI and they came up with a truly custom cellar. The walnut stained rustic pine racks paired very well with stone arches, tin roof and travertine floor. Custom lighting completed the package. Everything arrived on time. Although it was a large project, all racks fit perfectly. We couldn't be happier!!

The wine cellar has a thermal door that opens up to a tasting/bar area. The wine cellar was one portion of a larger project involving the finishing of my home's overall basement. That larger project lasted about four months and is just now coming to a conclusion, cleaning things up and adding furnishings. I had several contractors involved in this work: masons, tilers, electricians, framing and carpentry (who did the actual rack assembly, using a nail gun). I acted as general contractor, doing the overall design and coordination. * Maybe a few things for your team to think about as you supply wine racks for similar efforts. (1) Your shipment involved 33 separate boxes which arrived in the context of the overall and more complex basement project. So we couldn't just open things without a plan. It took some time and calls to your business to sort out what was what and how to proceed. For example, the first call was to discover that a "module per box" was your packaging goal. It would have been nice if the overall design on the purchase order had clearly mentioned which modules were on which walls. The modules were not well indicated on the boxes -- felt tip marker, semi-legible and sometimes hidden beneath the FedEx shipping sticker. (2) My electrician was furnishing the LED lights tape for the display rows, so I had to come back to you and separately order the wood trim piece designed to hide that LED strip. But those trim pieces arrived without instructions on where and how to install them. So I put them in the wrong place initially, and another call was needed to procure the instructions. So, some rework. * For the tasting table, I chose to use the same tile I used on the cellar floor rather than the clear redwood you provided. It felt more solid and worked better with the stone feature wall at the far end of the cellar. To be sure, it all worked out fine in the end. And, yes, I would certainly recommend your racking to others.

The wine racks are working out well. I had a contractor assemble them for me and they did use a nail gun (they made it sound like there was a lot of nailing required).

The units all arrived as scheduled and intact from the shipper. Each order was shipped in multiple boxes which where light weight and easy to move about. Assembly was straight forward as long as following directions. There are nuances that can cause issues if not following directions. I did use a nail gun. When I inspected the pieces, my sense was that trying to nail everything together would result in many split boards. So I did invest in a nail gun and it was a purchase that definitely paid off. I would make it a strong recommendation that your customers use nail guns. I am very pleased with my purchase. The racks were sized to fit a closet space under a stairwell. Let me know if you have any questions.

We completed the installation 2 weeks ago and are absolutely thrilled with the way it turned out. We used a nail gun to assemble the wine racks. I do not think it possible to do it any other way. I think that your company has some great resources in term of videos and instruction manuals to assist in the installation. My only comment would be that these aids should part of the sales/delivery process and not offered only after they are requested. All in all we are very happy with the finished product.

We love the wine racks. We had them custom fitted by our construction guy into our empty space underneath the stairwell that has a landing. The wine cellar is just over 600 bottles in capacity with temp and humidity controls. It is all lined in red wood with cork flooring. The Vintner Series wine racks were perfect for it.

A year ago I purchased several wine racks from Wine Cellar Innovations. The racks were fairly easy to assemble and I enjoyed the ability to find a bottle of wine without going thru many boxes piled in my basement. It came a time to move, and our new home had the space to build a dedicated wine cellar. Wine Cellar Innovations reconfigured my current racks into the new design, and worked with me to keep my budget intact. To those that are worried about future expansion or reconfiguration....... I'm here to tell you that Wine Cellar Innovations will work with you.....even after the sale, to make certain you investment will age along with your wine. Hats off to the design team ( Fabian Sanchez ) for a job well done.

Wine Cellar Innovations uses various shipping methods to ensure that your racking and other purchases arrive to you when you need it, and free from damage. We utilize several different shipping carriers depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. Some of the carriers we choose to use are as follows, but not limited : Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. You will receive an email confirmation from us once your order has shipped from our facility advising you of the carrier and the tracking information, so you can plan for your delivery accordingly.
The following is for reference of larger orders or custom wine cellars:
Maximum Protection of Your Order
Our custom cellars are boxed in corrugated with corner protectors, then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids.  The skids contain plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to minimize damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks.  The vast majority of custom cellars ship via common carrier.
Basic Delivery
Means we ship via a 53' foot semi-trailer that will arrive at your residence and the driver will open the back of the truck and step aside for the assigned party on your end to unload it.  If the basic service does not fit your needs we also have a host of additional services listed below that you can choose from for an additional cost.
Customer pickup
Means that the client will be contacted when their product is completed. Customer will then contact their design consultant with the date they will be arriving for pick up.  Pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  Please be advised that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and delays in loading your product may occur.  We will need to be notified if the product will be loaded on a skid.
Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense.  Wine Cellar Innovations will need a completely filled out Bill of Lading at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product.  Product will be loaded on skids and customer will be charged a skid fee by Wine Cellar Innovations for each skid required to package your order.  Client will be notified when their order is complete and ready for pick up.  Pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Inside Delivery and lift gate service
Means that the carrier will remove the product off of their truck and deliver it into your garage or the first room that is past the threshold of your residence or place of business.  Lift gate service is required for them to take the product off the truck due to the length and weight of our product.
Gated community
Nees to be marked if you live in one as there are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities due to the extra work involved in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.
Small truck
Is required if a 53' long semi trailer will not be able to make a delivery to park in front of your home or in your driveway at the time of delivery.
Two man delivery service
Will be checked by Wine Cellar Innovations if we are shipping product this in excess of 70 pounds per box or if you have requested delivery of your product inside your home to a location other than the first room pass the threshold of your residence or place of business.
