We can generate a custom-designed wine cellar for you with either our modular wine rack kits or our custom products. Our design can be done by budget, bottle capacity, or any other criteria.

The multitude of orders we receive as well as the time you place your order greatly affects processing time. Please allow up to 1 1/2 weeks for your order to ship, although most smaller orders will ship out sooner than that. We do appreciate some customers have a tight deadline to receive their order so we do offer a free upgrade to our quick ship program. Factors such as material availability, stain, quantity, and items selected we can ship your order in as little as 1 day from date of receipt for no additional charge!
To take advantage of the quick ship program please select the quick ship option during checkout for your order and then please explain the timeline you are under for the order in the special instructions field on the checkout page. We will review your order during normal business hours and contact you to review your needs. In certain locations your delivery date may require expedited shipping charges even if we ship your order out with the quick ship program, which might be an additional charge you would need to authorize. All of the options will be reviewed with you when we contact you. Keep in mind that if for any reason the quick ship order does not push through after we have reviewed your needs, you are entitled to cancel your order and get a full refund.
Take note that there are additional S&H charges for shipments outside the contiguous United States and APO addresses. Also, there may be additional duties and taxes on international shipments.
We use an assortment of shipping methods to ensure that your racking and other purchases arrive to you when you need it, and free from damage. We are actually working with a number of shipping companies and utilize the most suitable ones depending on your order size and where we are shipping your order to. The list is not exclusive, but here are some of the more frequently utilized carriers: Fed Ex, UPS, Roadway Express, Overnite Transportation, Dawes Transportation, ABF, Team Worldwide, & Yellow. You will receive an email confirmation from us once your order has shipped from our facility advising you of the carrier and the tracking information, so you can plan for your delivery accordingly.
The following is for reference of larger orders or custom wine cellars:
Maximum Protection of Your Order
We ensure proper security of custom wine cellar orders by putting them in corrugated containers with corner protectors and then stacked and shrink wrapped onto skids. These skids have plywood aprons around the perimeter as shown to ensure minimal damage from fork lifts while being moved around shipping terminals and on/off the trucks. The vast majority of custom cellars ship via a common shipping carrier.
This shipping option is done via a 53' foot semi-trailer that will arrive at your residence. The driver opens the back of the truck and steps aside for the assigned party on your end to do the unloading. If the basic service does not fit your needs we also have a host of additional services listed below that you can choose from for an additional cost.
This method is quite self-explanatory and we get in touch with the client the moment the order is completed. The client will then contact their design consultant with the date they will be arriving for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Keep in mind that the afternoon pickup may be at the same time as large carriers are being loaded and which may at times result in delays in the loading of your product. In addition, we also need to be notified if the product will be loaded on a skid.
Third party shipping
Means the customer has their own shipping company and is going to arrange for delivery of the product to their final destination at their expense. Wine Cellar Innovations will need a completely filled out Bill of Lading at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up date of the product. The product is generally loaded onto skids and the client is charged with a skid fee by us for each skid required to package your order. We then notify the client when their order is complete and ready for pick up. Pick up date and times are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Inside Delivery and lift gate service
In this method, the carrier removes the product off of their truck and delivers it into your garage or the first room that is past the threshold of your residence or place of business. Note that a lift gate service is required to unload the product from the truck due to its length and weight.
There are only a limited number of specialty carriers who are willing to make deliveries to these communities, so the client needs to indicate it if they are residing in one. This is due to the extra work involved in clearing a time for delivery and getting the clearance with security.
Is required if a 53' long semi trailer will not be able to make a delivery to park in front of your home or in your driveway at the time of delivery.
Two man delivery service
Will be checked by Wine Cellar Innovations if we are shipping product this in excess of 70 pounds per box or if you have requested delivery of your product inside your home to a location other than the first room pass the threshold of your residence or place of business.
Turn Key Quote
Deliveries made to the following residences require a Turn Key Quote:
- High rise
- Any residential area where trucking companies must use asn elevator
- If the customer wants delivery past the threshold inside the residence.
- If the drop off location is not directly off of the driveway or if the driveway is inaccessible.
Returns initiated by The Purchaser
We are so certain that you will love your new product purchase from Wine Cellar Innovations that we provide the industry's leading return policy. If there is any reason whatsoever that leaves you unsatisfied with your Wine Cellar Innovations kit product, call us or email us and see if we can promptly exchange the product for you to get what you need. For the first 45 days after receipt of purchase, we allow the return of kit items for any reason, as long as: 1) the items have not been assembled, 2) they arrive back at Wine Cellar Innovations in a "like-new" condition, and 3) they arrive back at Wine Cellar Innovations in the original packaging. Upon arrival the items will be inspected for damage. A refund will be issued to The Purchaser for the amount of the merchandise less the value of any damage that the item incurred while in the possession of the customer or carrier. This policy also includes instances where the purchaser inadvertently orders the wrong item in error and wishes to return it.
We usually accept returns during the 45-90 day time frame. However, there will be charges imposed for inbound freight, outbound freight, damage assessment, as well as a 15% restocking fee.
*Please note this return policy outlined above is only applicable to residential and commercial wine rack kit products. Custom, metal, and factory second products have a separate policy.
This return policy includes instances where The Purchaser inadvertently orders the wrong item in error and wishes to return it.
Returns due to Our Error
If a replacement must be made because the wrong item arrives due an error on Wine Cellar Innovations's part (such as shipping of the wrong item, the item was made of the wrong material, the item was stained the wrong color, or the item was damaged before receipt) Wine Cellar Innovations will work with the customer to correct the error. There will be no charge for these replacements, but the The Purchaser is required to fulfill the following conditions:
Immediately get in touch with Wine Cellar Innovations to inform them of the error that was made
A replacement will be sent to the customer within 24 hours
The Purchaser will be given an RMA# which must be written on the outside of the shipping box
Wine Cellar Innovations sends out Call Tags to the Purchaser to return the item at no cost
Instructions will be included with the Call Tags on how to return the item. This is called "Activating the Call Tag."
The customer has 6 business days to activate this call tag. If it is not activated by the 7th business day the customer will be charged the full amount of the product plus shipping.
In the alternative, The Purchaser may request that the replacement not be sent until the incorrect unit arrives back at Wine Cellar Innovations. This will eliminate issue #6 aboveâ€¦ensuring no cost will be incurred by the customer.
Returns Due to Damage Caused by Shipping to The Purchaser
The Purchaser has 10 calendar days to inspect the product for defects or damage and notify Wine Cellar Innovations. Wine Cellar Innovations will replace the damaged piece at no charge to the customer if the notification is made within the 10-calendar day period. Any damage not reported within 10 calendar days of receipt of the item will not be replaced for free. The customer may choose to pay for the replacement part. The replacement part will not be shipped until The Purchaser has paid the appropriate cost by Check, Credit Card or Cash.
All other issues are covered under our limited warranty.
Kit orders that are unstained and made of our stock woods can be canceled without penalty as long as the cancellation is done before the order has shipped. If the order has already shipped then it will be subject to our kit return policy outlined above. If your order has a stain or other finish then you will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee once the stain has been applied to the order. Upon contacting Wine Cellar Innovations we will review your order and access if the stain has already been applied to inform you of whether the cancellation fee will apply. Note, however, that no cancellations are allowed for custom wood orders.
If you choose not to have your product shipped to you immediately when it is completed, or if you are interested in picking up your products yourself, then Wine Cellar Innovations will store your product at our warehouse at no additional charge for up to 7 calendar days from the initial date you are informed your product has been completed. Storage fees in the amount of $.10 per pound/ per day will accumulate on the 8th day that your order is still in our warehouse. Your order will not be release until all payments have been received, including the additional storage charges. If the amount of your storage charges exceeds the payments that Wine Cellar Innovations has received, then product is subject to forfeiture.
