Pennsylvania Wine Cellars & Wine Racks
project #80455 in Philadelphia, PA
One of our most loved glass enclosed wine cellars, this beauty was built near Philadelphia in a residential home. The glass paired with the Allheart Redwood shows off the elegance of the racking. With secured wine lockers, solid diamond bins, case storage, and a beautiful high reveal display this cellar is highly customized. We love the specialized lighting, custom floors, and granite tabletops. One of our favorite examples to show off for Pennsylvania!
project #132534 - Hookstown, PA
This is one of our fantastic examples of the durability of All Heart Redwood, when our clients had their home damaged by Hurricane Sandy. They contacted us to order replacement wood racks but after consulting with our team, they simply were able to sand down the wood and the water stains were gone and the racking looked as good as new.
"Seven years ago we made the best choice in selecting WCI. After our basement flooded our racking was water stained at the bottom. Instead of taking our money, they recommended we sand the damage away and it actually worked! Thank you for your fabulous All Heart Redwood wine racks!" ~Theresa & Adam B.~
project #267983 - Furlong, Pennsylvania Wine Racks
"We completed both our basement and wine cellar this past December. We purchased racking units from Wine Cellar Innovations, specifically, from their Vintner and Designer Series, as well as a few custom pieces. We also worked with one of their consultants, Jordan Newman. Everything went smoothly and our racking system not only fit but looked amazing after our contractor was done with it. We highly recommend Wine Cellar Innovations for their amazing customer service!" ~ Jerry S. ~
project #300917 - Beaver, PA
Our Vintner Series wine racks kit provided the client with a golden opportunity to store his collection in the most eye-catching manner. The gorgeous 5-Column Individual Concave Rack is one of the latest additions to the Vintner family. Not only does in come in several height configurations, there are also a number of ways to further customize the rack. The client in this case decided to add a custom top to the Concave, making it double as either a side table or tasting table. Needless to say, the client couldn't be happier with the results!
"I am so pleased with our wine rack, I've gotten so many fantastic comments from anyone who comes over to see it. The rack came in a timely fashion, was packaged very well and was fairly easy to assemble. I'm thinking about getting a second one to stack on top once I have it filled with wine. I couldn't be happier with the Vintner concave rack!" ~ Don W. ~

4 Questions to Ask Before Planning Your Pennsylvania Wine Cellar
Where should a wine cellar be built?
The location of your wine cellar shouldn't be that much of an issue. These days, you can build a proper wine storage anywhere in your home. But do keep in mind that the location you choose will affect the future costs of maintaining your wine cellar. That's why it's highly recommended that you should build it in the coolest and most humid place in your home - as close to 55-58 degrees F temperature and 55-75% humidity.
What kind of wine cellar cooling system is needed?
This depends on a number of factors. Keep in mind that your wine cellar cooling system must be able to maintain the ideal storage conditions 24/7. So you'll have to take into account the location of your wine cellar, the bottle storage capacity, and of course, the size of the wine cellar - among other things. We will be happy to assist you with heat load calculations for your project.
Should I go with wood or metal wine racks?
This is mostly just a matter of style preference. Both wood and metal wine racks can provide good storage for your wine bottles. Some styles may just be more space-efficient than the others or may have more customization options. We can help you decide which racking units will best suit your wine cellar theme.
What is the scope of WCI's installation services?
We are very proud of our factory-certified installers who have undertaken installations worldwide. Our professionals have over 60 years of construction experience and a 99% satisfaction rate with installs. This is because we really go all out in our services. Pennsylvania - Wine Cellars
From the online order to questions with the employees, returns, technical support and customer service, Wine Cellar Innovations has been FANTASTIC!! Every email and/or phone call was answered and my issues (which were not many and very minor) were resolved immediately! I have referred WCI to several family members and friends. I can say nothing but praises about the entire company, quality of the equipment and most importantly, Customer Service!
I wanted to send a positive review for Jennifer. My husband and I worked with her to design racks for our new wine cellar. She was responsive, helpful, and experienced, and I'd recommend her services to anyone.
I have used the service a second time, with the same designer, and couldn't be happier!
The racks arrived on time and were easy to assemble. Thank goodness I also purchased the nail gun through you. It was a fun project and I have already recommended WCI to friends.
We love it. Lidia was great to work with!
My wine racks were featured in Lancaster County Magazine!
All went well and install was super easy.
It is all great and coming together so well!
I provided a hand-drawn design to three wine rack companies, and received professionally created CAD drawings back from all three companies, with proposals. However, Wine Cellar Innovations did not provide the exact layout back to me.....they changed the design to something they thought would be more efficient and aesthetically pleasing. Their price was good too, but because they acted as a true consultant to me, I chose them.
I purchased both the Vintner Series wood racks and the Vintage View metal racks from Wine Cellar Innovations. They provided a consultant, Don, who visited my proposed wine cellar location to help draw up designs and document a pricing quote. He was great to work with. The racks were all shipped without damage (23 boxes) and were in excellent shape. My contractor was able to use a nail gun to assemble the wine rack with relative ease. The trim package provided allowed for the racks to look complete with a finished custom look. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with Wine Cellar Innovations.
Installation when smoothly. Yes, I definitely used a nail gun -- it would have been hell without it!! Fortunately I have a plethora of nailers (and clamps) at the house to make the process more efficient. This will be the first of what, hopefully, will be many racks to go. There are cases and cases awaiting their new homes.

I slowly purchased four Designer Series racks over the course of a year and assembled all of them using a drill and hammer (no nail gun!). It worked out fine and was not fancy, but very effective for holing my wine.
