Work On Your Custom Wine Cellar With An Experienced Maine Design Consultant
The state of Maine is known for its rocky coastline, maritime history and nature areas. Moose are plentiful in Baxter State Park, home to Mt. Katahdin. Wes Quoddy Head has also been bookmarked by tourists as a romantic spot with lighthouses that dot the coast, as do lobster shacks and sandy beaches. The European influence is big in the state, particularly with cuisine and wine. In this aspect, WCI has helped several Maine clients achieve their wine cellar goals. We've designed for both residential and commercial establishments in the state. So if you are looking for an experienced design consultant to give you that "Maine" flavor, look no further. WCI's professional consultants are here for you!

We are loving the way this custom wine cellar project turned out. Our clients wanted something with a traditional flavor, but also with unique elements to it. Our design team put together this stunning glass-enclosed wine storage with customized racking units.
project #309749, Glenburn Wine Cellar
"Working with Wine Cellar Innovations was the right decision. Amy made the design process look easy and was in great communication with me the whole time. The product is so well made with robust instructions and videos to reference. I always knew that the Wine Cellar Innovations team would be there if we ran into problems or needed help along the way. We love the final product and would highly recommend Amy and the team at Wine Cellar Innovations to anyone looking to create a showpiece for their home!" ~Chris M.~
Our Urban Series was designed to help our customer create a passive wine storage place in their living or dining room. The Urban 9 takes multiple facets of our Vintner wine racking components and puts them together to create a custom-like piece for your home.
"Oh, the Urban design is a beautiful addition to my home. I have been really enjoying showing this off to my family and friends during our parties and I'm frequently complimented for it. When I purchased it, I decided to have it shipped unassembled because I like projects like this and I wouldn't want to bring that full size in through the door. They included a small compressor, nail gun, and instructions on how to put it together. After a few evenings after work, I had it all assembled, so it is not for experts only. At the end of the day, I have been very satisfied with this piece ."
Our Vintner Series wine rack kits delivered the most satisfying result for the client with this wine cellar project. Check out the bottle storage variety with the Individual Bottle Columns with High Reveal Displays, Open Diamond Bins with Face Trim, and Rectangular Bins. There is tons of bottle storage space for the client's present and future acquisitions. This is certainly one of WCI's best projects to date in the state.
"My wine cellar, though small came out amazing."

Important Questions to Ask Before Creating Your Maine Wine Room
What wine refrigeration unit is best for my wine cellar?
There are several types of wine refrigeration systems that you can check out. There are through-the-wall units, ducted systems
, and ductless systems. Each one has its specific pros and cons. We recommend talking with an experienced wine cellar consultant to help narrow it down to the most suitable wine cellar cooling system.
What is the advantage of custom wine racks?
By the very word "custom," the racks can be designed to suit any desired space. So whether you're working with a compact space or a generous one, custom racking units
will be able to deliver the wine storage you need. Also, in terms of style, you can design your racks to suit the kind of theme you have in mind for your wine cellar.
Where is the best place to build a wine cellar in one's home?
You can build a wine cellar anywhere in your home, but if you are looking at the future impact of the construction in terms of maintenance cost, then you have to choose wisely. A wine cellar should be placed in the coolest and most humid place in your home. The closer you are to the 55°-58° F temperature and 55-75% humidity that your wine will need, the smaller size wine cooling unit
you will need and the lower the overall cost will be.
How do I choose the right wine racks for my wine cellar?
Wine racks come in so many shapes, sizes, and styles. In choosing your wine racks, take into consideration some important things. One would be the space you are working with. If you're working with a compact space, then small wine racks
and wall-mounted ones would be clever choices. If you want to exude a contemporary vibe, look into metal wine racks, wine rack pegs, and units with acrylic material.
