Our Experienced Georgia Wine Cellar Design Consultant Is Here For You!

The state of Georgia was originally a British colony in the 1700s. It was named after King George II of Great Britain, hence the name "Georgia." It is also known as the "Peach State" and "Empire State of the South." This state is home to some of the biggest names in in the industry such as Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, UPS, and Honeywell, among others. In fact, if it were a standalone country, Georgia would have the 28th largest economy in the world. Atlanta, one of its major cities, has the most influential effect on the state. It is a global city or "world center," considered to be an important node in the global economic system. It is no wonder that wine cellars and wine establishments flourish here - something that WCI has taken into great consideration. That's why we've extended our professional wine cellar services in this state and we can't wait to get started!

Blended Stain Wine Cellar 273238
project #273238 - Atlanta, Georgia Wine Racks

The elegant metal racking worked in combination with custom wood racking pieces to give birth to this gorgeous number. The metal racks offered tons of individual bottle storage. On the other hand, Solid Vertical Displays, Rectangular Bin Bottles, and Wood Case bottles provided homes for bulk bottles. This project also features our "blended stain" option wherein we offer a 90/10, 80/20, 70/30, 60/40, or 50/50 ratio of our stock stains. This one is truly a stunner!
Georgia project 287028
project #287028 - Milton, GA

The Designer Series wine racks kit takes the stage in this eye-catching custom creation. Individual Bottle Storage racks with Display Rows were utilized for the client's wine establishment. These racks were framed by gorgeous arches in rough-hewn stone materials. Rustic Pine was the wood of choice, dressed up in Midnight Black Stain. The bold colors of the racks were in stark contrast to the lighter stone arches which is a visual delight.

"They actually where better than I thought they would be. We put them together at our custom cabinet shop." ~Sherry B.~

4 Questions to Ask Before Planning Your Georgia Wine Cellar

Why should you build a wine cellar?
Whether you are just starting out your collection or already have a fairly sizable one going, one thing is for sure. You will need proper wine storage for those bottles. This means maintaining ideal wine storage conditions which should be as close as possible to 55-58 degrees F temperature and 55-75% humidity. It also means having enough space to properly showcase your collection.

What if I don't have enough space for a wine room?
It doesn't need to be a formal wine room if there are space issues involved. Wine storage means providing the right environment for your bottles so that they will be kept securely under the proper storage conditions. A wine cabinet or a compact wine cellar can be alternatives to a formal wine room. Even small, unused corners in your home such as under the stairs or an empty coat or shoe closet can be transformed into a suitable wine cellar.

How should you choose your wine racks?
You should take into consideration your present collection as well as future acquisitions. Estimating the number of bottles you acquire each month and/or a yearly basis will greatly help in determining the type and style of racking units. If you are still unsure, we highly recommend getting in touch with our experienced design consultants. They will definitely guide you in the right direction!

Should you assemble the racks yourself or seek professional help?
This depends on the size of your wine cellar project and the design. A fairly small one may be done DIY. Our racking products come with assembly instructions and are quite easy to put together, especially if you use the right tools such as a nail gun. However, larger projects or even smaller ones with complicated design features would necessitate professional guidance.
