Wine cellar project in Alaska

Our Vintner Series happily makes its debut in this project designed for an Alaskan client. This is a generously sized wine room that needed to be maximized for the client’s collection. They had a steadily growing one and wanted more than enough space for future acquisitions. So our design team turned to Vintner in order to deliver the desired results. For the racking arrangement, they made sure that there is enough space for both individual and bulk bottle storage. This was conveniently achieved, thanks to the variety of racking styles available.

The image below shows a lot of Individual Bottle Storage units, some Open Diamond Bins with Face Trim,  and Individual Diamond Bins. The cellar also features an Individual Tasting Center with Displays and Case Storage. For the accents, some Quarter Round Displays were incorporated. The racking assembly was finished off with crown moldings, center seam trim, base platforms, and LED lighting accessories. Now notice that the wine cellar utilized floor-to-ceiling racking in order to really maximize the bottle storage space. So in order to facilitate easier organization of the collection, a rolling ladder was included:

WCI manufactures wine cellar ladders, as well as step stools. Our rolling ladders come standard in Red Oak with a clear finish. However, like all other WCI products, these can also be custom made to fulfill your specific needs and environment. Our client opted for an unstained rolling ladder to match the unstained All-Heart Redwood wine racks. However, you can choose to stain and/or finish your ladder, depending on your wine cellar’s theme. The only exception is lacquer. WCI does not do lacquer on the ladders, but they can be stained with a clear finish instead. In addition, you can also select from several wood choices. Wood selections such as Birch, Cherry, Maple, Mahogany, White Oak, Lyptus, Alder and Walnut are available for a slight upcharge. *Cheers*
