May 23rd, 2017

Looking to outfit a generous amount of space with quality wine racks? The Gold Series is your ticket to a top-notch racking assembly. Case in point: today’s Tech Tuesday feature. It’s one of the more spacious projects that we undertook for a client and the end results were very satisfying both to the client and to us as well:

Project # 249665
Wood: Gold / Premium Redwood
Bottle Capacity: 9325
Where: Portage, OH

Stunning Gold Series custom wine racks

The snaps of the completed wine cellar are definitely on point, showcasing the versatility of the bottle storage options and the smart use of the allotted space. It pays to note that the Gold Series was specifically developed to provide an extensive variety of racking styles, specifically focusing on the economical use of 1×2 open construction. That’s why these racking units will definitely work for large wine cellar projects. As can be seen from these photos, there is tons of individual as well as bulk bottle storage. Check out the way the shelves were put together in order to really maximize on the room’s bottle capacity. This cellar can easily hold a little over 9000 bottles which is quite impressive:

Versatile racking arrangement

Now one would think that this wine cellar probably cost the client an arm and a leg, but it’s actually an affordably priced project. Why so? For one thing, the Gold Series is one of our reasonably priced custom racking collection and for another, the wood choice utilized is Premium Redwood. Premium Redwood is a tad more affordable than All-Heart Redwood, although both sport the same remarkable qualities. For one thing, the wood is naturally resistant to the cool, humid atmosphere desired for long-term wine storage. Moreover, as far as performance characteristics are concerned, this wood showcases impressive resistance to shrinking, warping, and checking in addition to durability. Those who have worked with Redwood in their wine cellar projects have witnessed how the wood ages gracefully – together with their wine bottles.

Unstained Premium Redwood racks

Last but definitely not the least, it bears emphasizing that Premium Redwood brings about great value to any wine cellar project. As we’ve mentioned, it’s a very affordably priced clear wood without knots. Since we purchase and process a vast amount of Redwood here at WCI, we make our clients enjoy the great savings. Our Tech Tuesday client was definitely happy with their custom wine cellar, so we hope you’ll be the next one! *Cheers*
