How To Start On A Custom Wine Cellar Project

September 11th, 2013

An awesome How To Wednesday, wine cellar fans! Today, we’re going to talk about how you can start on a custom wine cellar project, the WCI way. We know we’ve tackled this topic before, but this time, it’s all about creating your custom wine cellar using the extensive services provided by WCI. Let’s hop right on to it

1.      First, you have to go through our consultation process.

The very first step to creating a wine cellar which will give you one hundred percent satisfaction is knowing exactly what to expect with the entire construction process. This can best be done when you have a professional design consultant guiding you. That way, you will be able to get a clearer picture of your goal and on the steps you need to take, particularly when it comes to the cost thereof. WCI’s custom consultation process provides you with professional services of consultants with over 150 years of combined wine cellar experience. In addition, our team also possesses the same amount of experience in each the construction, interior design, or wine/liquor industries. Best of all, these initial services are actually FREE!

2. Second, you’ll need to select your design.

After the initial consultation is out of the way and you have set your project’s budget, it’s time to decide on the perfect design for your wine cellar. You have the advantage of working closely with our sales department during this step. It is during this stage where essential elements will be discussed such as the location of your future cellar, the size and bottle capacity thereof, the materials you’d want to work with, the racking arrangement, and so much more. Newbies would be very glad to learn that WCI’s team of 2D custom wine cellar designers will be there to offer necessary assistance. This would even include a review process to make sure that all the details, including miscellaneous ones are taken into consideration.

3. Third and last, you’ll be made to do a Sign-Off and Deposit.

What is this all about? This is actually a lot similar to a generic construction contract. But take note that not all companies provide this kind of security to their clients. WCI goes the extra mile in making everything official ensuring that each and every customer gets the result he really wants. Our Custom Sign Off Sheet outlines all the specifics of your project, down to every last detail discussed during the initial consultation stage. It will reflect information on the chosen racking style, room dimensions, wood species, stain and finish options, wine cooling options, accessories, and more.

Now note that this just involves “starting” your wine cellar project! In other words, this is just the first half of our services. The other half consists of actual installation and assembly of the cellar which will be the topic of our next How To episode. Stay tuned for that and don’t forget to subscribe to our mailing list for the latest deals and huge discounts. ^_^
