Wine Rack Kit Manufacturing Changes

Changes in manufacturing process have been made to the following wine rack kits:*

How things were
Line up an Individual Bottle Rack and and Open Diamond Cube with the old style and the vertical height of the spacer bar was different.
Why did we change it?
 We changed this product because you asked for it. We received much positive feedback in the past about this product line. However, we never want to be satisfied with good, when we can attain something that is great. Therefore, we have been asking for feedback on anything we could change to make this product line better and the changes noted on this page are a culmination of the feedback we received.


What if I have the old style racks and I want to place an order that matches what I already have?
You can still place an order for the old style kits. It is best to call in the order and speak with a design consultant to ensure they pull up your previous order and reference that order when placing the new order to ensure the product line is a match.
 
How they are now
The solution was to change the design of the kits to allow for a 1 7/16" square cut base to be applied to the front of all the Designer Series wine racks.
This modification to the product line, while it seems simple, will allow for a multitude of other positive changes to this product line, which are as follows:
  • When you order a base option there will no longer be a need to stack two sets of 1x2 under the rack to allow for the moldings to be attached.
  • The base height is now 1 7/16" height. Instead of 2 1/16". If you order the base molding you will install that instead of the 1 7/16" square cut base on the kits.
  • This new height ensures that all stored wine bottles for all the Designer Series wine racks will be elevated off the floor.
