DENISE Painter: Hand Painted Tiles

These artistic creations are completely hand painted and designed around the customer's taste. Each piece of tile is handled several times, as it is hand painted with a series of colored glazes. After glazing, the tile goes through four firings in the kiln. The temperate that the tiles are fired at is higher than that of fine china so the glazes are truly baked into the tile for a lifetime of color and durability. The painted tile is scratch resistant and can be scrubbed with cleaning agents commonly used on tile, as they will not affect the fired glaze.

Porcelain tile is more durable than the standard ceramic tile. This is due to the fact that if a chip occurs in the tile, the texture and color of porcelain will run all the way through versus ceramic tile where the color is only on the surface.

Custom artwork that evolves from conceptual ideas, favorite wine labels or pictures of vineyard scenes and wine motifs will be designed around your specifications. We offer 6 x 6 inch or 12 x 12 inch porcelain tiles as shown below. Porcelain tile is more durable than the standard ceramic tile. This is due to the fact that if a chip occurs in the tile, the texture and color of porcelain will run all the way through versus ceramic tile where the color is only on the surface. If you prefer, our artists will paint on tile that you supply. The painted tiles can also be used on tabletops and decorative flooring. The grouting and installation can be completed in our factory and the tile will ship out installed in the archway or as a completed tabletop. There will be an additional charge for this service. Tiles that will be used in glass rack openings or for decorative flooring will need to be grouted on site. The average lead-time for painted tile is 4 to 6 weeks. Free Design Services

Do you have a room or a designated space that you would like to transform into a wine cellar, wine storage area, or wine room?

Click design request, & share your room dimensions with us, along with some other valuable information pertaining to your wine storage needs, and we will provide you with a wine storage plan layout free of charge.

We can design a room or area for you with either our modular wine rack kits, or our custom products. We can design by budget, bottle capacity, or any other criteria.

Warranty

Please note that each custom hand painted tile piece is a custom creation and may vary slightly from the original shown on this page. Once all custom art pieces are finalized and signed off on, they may not be returned. Please see the Policies tab for more information.

Shipping

The average lead time for hand painted tiles is 4 to 6 weeks depending on the level of detail.

If you are also ordering wine racking, we will attempt to ship out your custom hand painted tiles with your wine racking shipment.

Policies

Cellar “Wall Art” includes Paintings, Murals, Tumbled Stone Art, Stained Glass, Mosaic Art, Etched Mirrors, plain Mirrors, Hand Painted Tiles and Wood Carvings. All cellar Wall Art pieces are manufactured per customer for their specific usage. As a result of the custom nature of the products, these items cannot be placed back into inventory to be used for another customer. Therefore, there is no return of cellar Wall Art for any reason. Once the Purchase Agreement is signed your order will be placed into production. If your Wall Art needs to be modified after the agreement is signed you will be charged a redesign fee, an artist’s labor fee, if applicable, plus the cost of any materials that have been used in the production of the Wall Art. If you would like to cancel your order before it is shipped, you will only be refunded the amount after the design fee, the artist’s labor fee, and any materials that have already been used for the Wall Art have been subtracted from your original payment. In the event that the amount of used materials and labor fees exceeds the deposit on hand, the Purchaser agrees to pay Wine Cellar Innovations the remainder due to cover the costs of labor and said materials. Purchaser will have the option to have the finished materials they are being charged for shipped to the address of their choice at their expense or simply request Wine Cellar Innovations to discard the material for no additional charge to Purchaser.
