Augustina has always considered the world her home, moving from Detroit to Cincinnati to Barcelona, and now Chicago. She has studied at a variety of universities including The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Art Academy of Cincinnati, The University of Cincinnati, The Universidad de Barcelona, and the Universidad de Desarollo. Her dramatic large scale murals focus heavily on the ideas of color, contrast, and dramatic light. Major influences include a variety of Spanish and Mexican artists, a tribute to Augustina's heritage; Pablo Picasso, Diego Rivera, and Francisco de Goya among others. Augustina has been creating striking commercial and residential murals for years. Her work can be seen throughout the country in a variety of public and private collections, including the homes of royalty.
