All-Heart Redwood

We offer a variety of wood to select from, however 90% of our custom cellars are manufactured in All-Heart Redwood. This wood contains a natural resistance to decay and mildew and does not possess odors that can taint wines such as western red cedar.

All-Heart Redwood comes from the center of the tree and is characterized by a deep, rich, reddish brown color and a dramatic grain. The heart has a natural beauty and texture without a finish and over time the appearance improves as it takes on a deep luster.

Amber Blaze Mahogany

Amber Blaze Mahogany is medium brown in color and has an occasional tiny pinhole.

This wood receives high esteem due to it's marvelous dark consistency, grain pattern, and high strength-to-weight ratio. The natural stain brings out a lustrous dark red tone that enhances the medium brown color.

Wine Cellar Innovations now offers a custom formulated lacquer finish option for all their manufactured products. This new exciting option is a satin gloss finish that creates a high quality, clear top coat, giving our wine racks and doors a classic furniture appearance.

	Maple A maple is a light wood with a bright distinctive grain pattern and contemporary look.		Red Oak America's most prolific hardwood comes alive with a dash of oil finish.
	Black Walnut Dark, bold, earthy in color, Black Walnut has been used in fine cabinetry for ages. For a contemporary look, black walnut trim on Maple is very dramatic.		Padauk Unfinished Padauk as shown here is orange in color. Finished with a natural oil the orange takes on a hint of red. A distinguishing feature of Padauk is a very open grain pattern.
	Purple Heart This wood's pure purple color offers a truly distinctive appearance.		Bloodwood Bloodwood has a vibrant, deep red color which is truly exotic.
	Cherry Extensively used in fine furniture, cherry needs no introduction. This sample has a clear oil finish. It is also offered in a traditional red oil finish.		Poplar Poplar is fine textured, soft, and lightweight. It is easy to work with and takes paint and stain exceptionally well. The color in poplar is predominately white, with green and black swatches evident throughout the wood. Poplar is a good choice for custom radius racking due to its exceptional flexibility.
