Wine Cellar Roundup – Edition #49

What a beautiful week! I spent a few days up in Oregon and the scenery was fantastic, not to mention the stellar wineries. I’m looking forward to the school sessions starting next week though.

A fascinating article came out about how many reviews are fake. It is not surprising considering the importance all of us give to reviews. Here is Fermentation’s take on it which is essentially agreeing with the NYTimes.

I always enjoy FabOCWineChick on Twitter so I was happy to see she reached one year of blogging. If you have ever thought of starting a blog on your passion (wine for her!) have a look on what she learned.

Will crowds flock to Napa’s new Disney-like wine world? Napa is beautiful but continued improvements to help along tourism is always a good thing.

The New York Times has a great review of phone apps for wines that is fantastic!
