Wine Cellar Roundup – The Friday Edition #36

May 27th, 2011 by

Happy  Memorial Day Weekend! I hope you are thinking of our armed forces and enjoying a relaxing weekend with family and friends.

A few house cleaning items: We had a great interview with WNKU, a local radio station that you may want to listen to. We are also scheduled to be on Hometime via PBS this weekend so if you get the chance to check us out, let us know how it is.

Let’s get to the links!

Conscious Wine had some thought-provoking comments about organic wine and New Zealand. He writes with flair, you may want to check it out.

1WineDude talks about the “Parker Effect” in alcohol levels in California.

Need to pick a wine for a party? The Wall Street Journal covers the basics. It makes me laugh a bit that the WSJ is covering these times of things but they have some good tips.

When did wines under $10 become a sin, Vinespot asks? Good point! It is not guaranteed to be horrible, is it? No!

Finally… this is the cutest thing I’ve seen all week. I’m off to snuggle my babies now! Happy three day weekend!
